RALEIGH, N.C. (WTVD) -- Raleigh police are investigating after a car crashed into a motel on Wake Forest Road Thursday overnight.
ABC11 crews at the scene observed significant damage to the Days Inn motel, including a large hole in the side of the building and shattered glass scattered across the ground.
Police had one person in custody, though it was not immediately clear what charges, if any, the person may face.
Authorities have not released information about whether anyone inside the hotel room was injured.
The investigation is ongoing, and additional details have not yet been released.
