CLAYTON, N.C. (WTVD) -- A car crashed into a grocery store in Clayton on Friday, prompting an emergency response.
Chopper 11 was over the scene at the Lowe's Foods store along U.S. Highway 70, where a car appeared to have driven into the building.
Authorities said there are reports of minor injuries, but it is not yet clear how many people were hurt.
Officials have not said what led up to the crash.
Emergency crews remained on scene working to assess injuries and damage.
