DURHAM, N.C. (WTVD) -- An investigation is underway after a Camaro was recovered from Northeast Creek along NC 54 Sunday morning.
The driver of the car was not at the scene, police said.

Durham police said after the car was pulled from the creek, officers went to the registered address where there was no answer.
The investigation is on-going.
