DURHAM, N.C. (WTVD) -- One person is dead after authorities said a vehicle slid off the road and into a creek in Durham.
The Durham Police Department and fire crews worked to remove the car from the Ellerbe Creek near Midland Terrace. Authorities said only one person was inside the vehicle at the time of the crash.
Police said Corey Lewis, 32, of Durham was pronounced dead at the scene.
The cause of the crash has not been released.
