As a mother of five, Sarah Seward said she realized there was something missing in the Triangle-a store that allowed parents to try out baby gear.
"There was nowhere in town to buy a nice stroller and when you're spending a decent amount of money on something, you want to actually see it in person," Sarah said.
But it wasn't until she had her fifth baby that she put those long nights to good use.
"You're like sitting there holding your baby forever, it's dark and quiet and I had a lot of time to think," Sarah said.
And Drool & Co. was born. Situated in Lafeyette Village in North Raleigh, it's a place where you can try out baby gear and see brands that otherwise you'd have to shop online.
But Sarah is no stranger to entrepreneurship. She opened two Dry Bar hair salons in the Triangle. Now, Drool & Co. is just another way to support women.
"You've got a lot of new parents coming in, new moms especially, and they don't really know what to expect, and they don't know what they're looking for. So maybe they're a little confused coming in and nervous. And just a week and a half in it's been really nice to see them settle in here and get comfortable with where they are in life,' Sarah said.
