GARNER, N.C. (WTVD) -- East Garner Elementary has ended its lockdown following a Code Yellow prompted by nearby police activity.
The school announced on its website that it entered the lockdown at around 10:20 a.m. due to the activity. Law enforcement confirmed at 11:06 a.m. that it was safe to lift the measure.
This marks the second lockdown at the school in two days, though it is not connected to Wednesday's incident.
