Firefighters leave no duck behind in adorable sewer rescue

LAKE ZURICH, IL -- A group of firefighters may have just made their smallest rescue yet, carefully extracting a family of 7 ducklings trapped in a sewer.

The Lake Zurich Fire Rescue Department took to social media Friday to share photos from the rescue, which required the expertise of several firefighters and public works employees.



According to local newspaper The Daily Herald, a nearby wildlife conservation center is now caring for the rescued birds.
