Lenoir County man convicted in 22 cases of breaking and entering taken into custody

LENOIR COUNTY, N.C. (WTVD) -- A man in Lenoir County is once again back in custody after being spotted walking around a church parking lot with an active warrant out for his arrest.

According to public records, Frankie Lee Tucker Jr. has a long criminal history including convictions for breaking and entering motor vehicles 22 times, first-degree burglary, and more offenses across multiple counties including Wake, Nash, Rockingham, Moore, Lee, Harnett, and Lenoir.

On Sunday, deputies responded to a call about a man walking around a church with a flashlight in the 3700 block of Banks School Road.

When a deputy arrived, they detained Tucker Jr. who was taken into custody on an active parole violation warrant.

He had been arrested on November 12 by Kinston police for trying to break into cars. He was given a $1,500 secured bond and was released the next day.



He is currently at the Lenoir County Jail under no bond for violating parole in connection with the Kinston police arrest.
