Juvenile charged in triple Goldsboro shooting at mobile home park, police say

GOLDSBORO, N.C. (WTVD) -- A juvenile was charged in connection to a triple Goldsboro shooting that occurred Monday.

Just around 6:14 p.m., Goldsboro Police Department responded to a reported shooting at the Tanglewood Mobile Home Park in the 3200 block of Central Heights Road. Officers found a man with a gunshot wound.

A second gunshot victim had run off toward the TJ Maxx on North Berkeley Boulevard to seek help. He was taken to UNC Health Wayne by EMS. Shortly after, a third gunshot victim arrived at UNC Health Wayne in a private car.

One of the three men had to be airlifted to ECU Health in Greenville, where he was listed in serious condition.

3 men shot in Goldsboro; no arrests made


The juvenile suspect was arrested Tuesday and faces charges of attempted murder, assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury and robbery with a dangerous weapon. They were taken to a juvenile detention facility.



The name of the suspect will not be released due to their age.

The victims range in age from 21 to 23 years old.

The investigation remains ongoing, and more arrests are expected.
