GARNER, N.C. (WTVD) -- New Hope Church had its first helicopter egg drop Saturday morning. A crowd gathered to watch as thousands of candy-filled eggs fell from the sky.

As part of the event, the church also collected canned food for "Community of Hope Ministries."
