Things are about to get creepy for Emmy Rossum in "Furious."

"Furious" follows FBI agent Alice Black (Rossum) on the hunt for a mysterious and calculating female serial killer. Both walk their own paths toward justice, and as their lives start to intertwine, the line between right and wrong begins to blur.

The series also stars Lola Petticrew, Scoot McNairy, Quincy Tyler Bernstine and Jake Lacy.

The trailer, seen in the video player above, begins with the serial killer having a strange interaction with a man who is dying, where she tells him, "I don't like the sound you're making, but I love your smile."

Okaaayyyy!

We later see Rossum arriving at the crime scene to investigate. She realizes they have a serial killer on their hands.

As we find out through the trailer, "Female killers know their victims. They kill for power, control." And Rossum's character believes the murders are "payback."

We later see the killer attack a man, who she said she met when she was 15.

"Furious" was created, written and executive produced by Elizabeth Meriwether, who is also behind successful shows such as "New Girl," "The Dropout" and "Dying For Sex."

Rossum is also an executive producer.

The first three episodes of "Furious" premiere July 27 on Hulu and Hulu on Disney+. New episodes will drop weekly on Mondays and the season finale will stream August 31.

The Walt Disney Company is the parent company of Hulu and this ABC station.
