Season 4 sees six of the top contestants return to the game show floor to go head-to-head to compete for the $500,000 grand prize and title of "Jeopardy! Masters" champion.
Contestants include reigning "Jeopardy! Masters" champion Yogesh Raut and returning finalists Juveria Zaheer and Victoria Groce, 2026 "Jeopardy!" Tournament of Champions winner Paolo Pasco, and 2026 "Jeopardy!" Invitational Tournament winner Andrew He and runner-up Long Nguyen. Andrew He will make his return to the "Jeopardy! Masters" stage after competing in the first edition of the tournament.
On The Red Carpet spoke with Jennings about what's to come during the two-week primetime event.
"It's kind of like a class reunion when they get to come back, and that's a lot of fun for me. I'm like the old professor who gets older and older at every reunion," Jennings joked.
Because the contestants are masters at the game, the writers aren't afraid to crank the difficulty up a notch.
"There's lots of cool and accessible stuff, but there's also going to be a few clues where I'm like, 'I can't believe we expect somebody to know this.' Because we want to know, like, 'How good can they get? How good are these people?' And invariably, some of those hardest clues, somebody will get right."
When it comes to winning the game, Jennings explained it's all about strategy.
"Nobody's playing off of vibes here. Like, they all have a plan. They all have a strategy, and their minds are going a mile a minute," he said. "This is a hard show for people who are already amazing 'Jeopardy!' players. Like, we're testing their limits."
Season 4 of "Jeopardy!" Masters" premieres Aug. 25 at 8/7c on ABC and streams next day on Hulu and Hulu on Disney+. All nine episodes of the tournament will air as follows:
- Tuesday through Friday, Aug. 25-28 (Episodes 1-4)
- Tuesday through Friday, Sept. 1-4 (Episodes 5-8)
- Tuesday, Sept. 8 - Finale
