Payroll company, ADP, looked at the wages of about 140,000 in their 20s in cities across the country and how long it takes them to land new jobs.
Raleigh ranked number one for the second year in a row.
ABC11 spoke with Wake County Economic Development on what's attracting young people to the Capital City.
"So I think that really what is fascinating for Raleigh and for this region is the fact that we are, you know, kind of seen as this up-and-coming city. The fact that we are providing this great quality of life for these college graduates, the opportunities for jobs, but most importantly, affordability. This year we were ranked the best performing city by Milken Institute in the United States," said Kyle Touchstone.
The non-profit says this is something to celebrate, but they're also focused on building on the success to ensure more people find their communities here in Raleigh and the broader Triangle area.
