In addition to festival favorites like the Lazy Lounge and Beer Garden, this year's event introduces several exciting new features:
- Demo Daze at Downtown Cary Park - Friday, August 22 from 6-9 p.m. Visitors can enjoy an evening preview before the main festival begins, with live artist demonstrations and interactive activities in Cary's new Downtown Cary Park.
- The Chalk Walk - Thirteen interactive street paintings will connect the festival grounds to Downtown Cary Park, providing an immersive visual experience for attendees.
- Kid Collectors Market - Returning for its second year, this unique shopping opportunity allows children ages 6-12 to purchase artwork just for them. Art is donated by festival artists and tickets are just $5. Proceeds benefit Cary's Play it Forward scholarship. It's a fun, confidence-building way for kids to engage with art and support working artists. No parents allowed.
- Quiet Hours - Sunday from 9-11 a.m. will offer a more sensory-friendly festival experience, designed for attendees who prefer a calm and quiet atmosphere to explore the art and activities.
- Updated Shuttle Location - The festival's free Park & Ride shuttle service will operate from a new location at South Hills Plaza, providing convenient, no-cost transportation directly to the event entrance on both days.
