Waddell's husband, Cailen Waddell, told ABC11 that his wife has been missing since Wednesday. He described her as about 5 feet tall with short blonde hair.
Cailen Waddell, who serves as the Town of Cary's Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources manager, traveled to Grenada on Friday to assist with search efforts.
Police are specifically asking fishermen, boat operators and residents along Grenada's southern coastline to report any sightings or information that could help locate Waddell.
On Friday, an Instagram account belonging to Cailen Waddell shared the police missing persons notice and a photo of Elizabeth.
"I expect nothing less than Liz's safe return - so please send your love, light, thoughts, and prayers our way," he wrote.
Authorities have not released additional details about the circumstances surrounding Waddell's disappearance.
Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Royal Grenada Police Force.
