Authorities are currently on scene in the 300 block of Bargate Drive. The incident happened shortly after 12:15 p.m.
The victim was taken to a hospital, officer told ABC11 Eyewitness News.
This appears to be an isolated incident, and there is no threat to the community, according to the Cary Police Department.
It is early on in the investigation, so information is limited.
