Man shot in Durham

DURHAM (WTVD) -- Durham police are investigating a shooting that left a man seriously injured Sunday evening.

It happened around 6 p.m. at the corner of North Duke Street and Horton Road.

Police say a car driven by Dwight Grayer, 20, of Fayetteville, stopped at the light at Horton and Duke when a gray car pulled up next to him.

Several shots were fired from the car and Grayer was struck once.

He was rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.



No charges have been filed.
