Man shot outside 7-Eleven store in Raleigh

The victim was shot in the lower body and taken to a hospital, where he was expected to recover.

RALEIGH, N.C. (WTVD) -- Raleigh Police are searching for the person they say shot a man at a convenience store on Wednesday night.

It happened behind a new 7-Eleven at 2600 South Saunders Street.

An ABC11 breaking news crew was there as authorities investigated.

The victim was shot in the lower body, police said. He was taken to a hospital and was expected to recover.

No arrests have been made.
