KINSTON, NC (WTVD) -- Police say a man was found dead inside a Kinston home that was hit by gunfire late Monday night.
Officers got a shots fired call around 10:30 p.m. in the 700 block of Williams Street.
Thirty-year-old Devon Jones was found lying on the floor of a home at 706 Williams Street with a gunshot wound to his back. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said the home had been hit several times by gunfire.
