CHARLOTTE (WTVD) -- Charlotte Hornets owner Michael Jordan accepted his ALS Ice Bucket Challenge.

Jordan took the icy charity bath and made a donation to ALS.
The former NBA superstar and UNC player was challenged by other high profile athletes including David Beckham, Ray Allen and Derek Jeter.
Jordan is now challenging legendary coach and New York Knicks President Phil Jackson and his Dream Team teammates to take the challenge and donate cash.
