Homes and businesses are without electricity, as well as street lights at major intersections.
Durham Police Department said the crash happened around 6: 15 a.m. along Page Road near Page Road Extension, damaging several utility poles. One person was taken to a hospital with serious injuries.
The intersections without working traffic lights are:
- S. Miami Blvd and TW Alexander Dr
- S. Miami Blvd and Angier Ave
- Page Rd and TW Alexander Dr
- Page Rd and Lumley Rd
There is no estimated time for power to be restored.
Motorists are asked to avoid this area.
