RALEIGH, N.C. (WTVD) -- State health and human services workers are set to demand higher pay.
More than 600 NCDHHS employees will deliver a petition today to the General Assembly calling for bonuses and pay raises.
It comes after a November report showed the state agency has $386 million in lapsed salary funds this after 340 positions were never advertised or posted.
DHHS employees say they continue to suffer while the agency sits on so much money.
