Apparently things do not work out between him and Jen on "Bachelor in Paradise" so spoiler alert there. It's actually pretty surprising they decided to make this announcement before officially seeing that relationship end on a show that's currently airing.

Former "Bachelor" Ben and his fiancee Lauren skyped in on "After Paradise" to wish Nick luck on his new journey for love.
We first got introduced to Nick on Andi Dorfman's season of "The Bachelorette." He was the runner up after apparently spending a steamy night with her in the fantasy suite. That news is partially to blame for Andi and Josh Murray's eventual breakup.

Nick gave it another go, coming in mid-season of Kaitlyn Bristowe's journey on "The Bachelorette." Again, he was the runner up!
We'll see Nick Viall as the season 21 "Bachelor" in January 2017! It's a long wait, but it will be so worth it!
