CHAPEL HILL, N.C. -- A season-long documentary series following head coach Bill Belichick and the North Carolina Tar Heels will steam on Hulu this fall, the team announced on its social media channels Sunday.

"I know that you guys heard there was a lot of interest in doing a, let's call it, season-long documentary or season-long show about North Carolina football," Belichick said in the social media video. "I'm excited to share with you that we will be doing that.

Produced by EverWonder Studio, he said the show will focus on the team as a whole.

"This is about the UNC football program," Belichick said in the video. "There's obviously a lot of interest in it... it's going to feature the players working hard, like you guys do. It's about the players improving."

Belichick, 73, brings a résumé with six Super Bowl titles as an NFL head coach. His personal life also made major headlines earlier this year due to his relationship with 24-year-old girlfriend, Jordon Hudson.

Schedule

Belichick's debut comes against TCU on Labor Day, while the ACC opener is a visit from the preseason league favorite in fourth-ranked Clemson (Oct. 4).

The Tar Heels have their first cross-country league trip with a Friday night visit to California (Oct. 17), then close the schedule with instate opponents: at Wake Forest (Nov. 15), home against Duke (Nov. 22) and at N.C. State (Nov. 29).

Hulu is owned by Disney, the same parent company as ABC Owned Television Stations.
