RALEIGH, N.C. (WTVD) -- A popular downtown Raleigh food truck rodeo is back this weekend, with a mission to make sure everyone can eat.

A Place at the Table is hosting its fifth annual Pay-What-You-Can Food Truck Rodeo on Sunday, April 19, bringing together food, community, and a unique approach to dining.

Dozens of food trucks will serve meals and desserts, all on a pay-what-you-can basis. The event also supports eight nonprofit partners, helping extend its impact beyond just one afternoon.

Founder Maggie Kane says the goal is simple: create a welcoming space where everyone can gather and enjoy a dignified meal-regardless of what they're able to pay.

"All are welcome to come and pay what they can, it's a huge community event where everyone can sit together and just be together and build community," Kane said.

In addition to the food, the event will feature several food trucks and nonprofit organizations, all coming together to serve and connect with the community.

The Pay-What-You-Can Food Truck Rodeo runs Sunday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 300 W. Hargett Street in downtown Raleigh.
