CHAPEL HILL, N.C. (WTVD) -- An accident involving a person in a motorized wheelchair and a transit bus happened Thursday afternoon in Chapel Hill.
UNC police said the bus hit the person at the corner of Ridge Road and Manning Drive just before 2 p.m.
Paramedics took that individual to UNC hospitals.
They were awake and alert when taken to the hospital for observation.
