The victims have been identified as 63-year-old Bobby Farris, 62-year-old Christina Aggelis and 20-year-old Trinity Thomas.
Investigators say Christina Aggelis was the mother of Demetrius Louis Aggelis, who has since been charged in connection with the deaths. Thomas was Aggelis' niece and Christina Aggelis' granddaughter.
According to the Moore County Sheriff's Office, Aggelis called authorities shortly before 8 a.m. Wednesday and reported finding the three victims unresponsive at a home on Ryder Cup Boulevard. Deputies, firefighters and EMS crews responded and determined all three had died in what appeared to be homicides.
Deputies say that each of the victims likely sustained gunshot and stab wounds. The official cause and manner of death will be determined by the medical examiner.
As investigators worked to piece together a timeline, they reviewed privately owned surveillance video from the area. Authorities say one video appeared to show an armed person entering the home shortly after 3:30 a.m.
Additional surveillance footage helped investigators identify a vehicle they believed was connected to Aggelis.
During interviews, investigators said Aggelis told them he had been at his own home, several miles away, when the armed person was seen entering the residence.
However, investigators later reviewed data from the Flock Safety camera network. According to the sheriff's office, a camera located less than a mile from the crime scene captured the vehicle linked to Aggelis traveling toward the victims' home just minutes before the armed individual was seen entering the residence. Investigators said the same vehicle was recorded leaving the area shortly afterward.

Authorities say that evidence contradicted Aggelis' account of where he was at the time.
Investigators also say the Flock camera data generated additional leads that remain under investigation.
The sheriff's office said weapons and other evidence believed to have been used in the crimes have been recovered and submitted for further testing and analysis.
Aggelis has been charged with three counts of murder and one count of first-degree burglary. Authorities say he has admitted responsibility for the deaths.
Investigators are continuing to examine evidence and circumstances surrounding the case and have not announced a motive.
