Moore County deputies discovered the bodies around 8 a.m. at a home in the 100 block of Ryder Cup Boulevard in Pinebluff.
Sheriff Ronnie Fields said Flock Safety cameras helped lead authorities to the suspect.
Evidence obtained through the Flock Safety camera network, along with other evidence, played a significant role in identifying Demetrius Louis Aggelis, 40, as a suspect, Fields said.
Aggelis was charged with three counts of murder and one count of first-degree burglary.
The names of the victims are being withheld pending notification of next of kin.

The sheriff's office did not immediately release details of how the victims died.
