The celebration begins on Saturday, Oct. 25, with the masquerade gala, held from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the DoubleTree in Durham.
The evening features live entertainment, speakers, and a dinner dedicated to celebrating survivors, honoring warriors, and raising awareness in the ongoing fight against breast cancer.
A week later, the momentum continues with the Annual Community Cancer Awareness Walk on Saturday, Nov. 1, from noon to 5 p.m. at the Historic Durham Athletic Park. 500 W. Corporation St.
This family-friendly event will include on-site health resources, including mammograms and a blood drive in partnership with The Blood Connection. Attendees can also enjoy food trucks, vendors, and entertainment throughout the afternoon.
