Renai Bennett and her sister said that they left their home to run a quick errand and returned to a frightening situation.

"We pulled up to the house, there were guys walking out and they were holding TVs and stuff, and when we were about to get out of the car they started shooting at us," Bennett said.

The two women said as they tried to flee the scene, the suspects chased them until they reached a neighbor's home down the street, where the sisters said they hid out and called police.

Their car was hit by several bullets, but both women were not hurt. However, they said they didn't know if the same could be said for their two roommates who were inside the house at the time of the robbery.

"All I could think about was (if) my roommates were okay, because I knew they were inside the whole time it happened," Bennett said.

Her roommates, a man and a woman, were reportedly pistol-whipped, but are expected to be okay. The woman was taken to the hospital for treatment.

The suspects reportedly stole an Xbox, PlayStation, and tried to steal a TV, but ended up dropping it as they fled.

Bennett said she believed they were watching the home since the suspects arrived shortly after she left the house.

The suspects are still on the loose. Descriptions of the thieves are unavailable.
