Officers responded just after 3 p.m. to the 7000 block of Fox Cliff Lane for a shooting call.
They arrived to find the two people dead inside a home. RPD said it had not yet been able to confirm the relationship between the two people.
Investigators said they believe there was no ongoing threat to the community.
The incident remains under active investigation.
