The first incident was reported at a strip mall in the 5400 block of Rock Quarry Road near a Dollar General store.
Multiple police units responded to the area, where crime scene tape could be seen in front of several businesses. ABC11 has reached out to the Raleigh Police Department for details about what happened and whether anyone was injured.
Meanwhile, police also responded to Shellum Street near New Bern Avenue and South Raleigh Boulevard.
ABC11 crews at the scene observed officers searching the area for evidence as the investigation continued.
