16-year-old shot in Raleigh; police searching for suspect

RALEIGH, N.C. (WTVD) -- Police are investigating a shooting that left a 16-year-old injured in northeast Raleigh.

Officers responded Saturday morning to the 4700 block of Dansey Drive, between Louisburg Road and New Hope Road, at the Domain Apartments complex.

Video from the scene showed police gathering evidence as part of the investigation.

Authorities said the teen's injuries are not considered life-threatening.

Investigators have not released details about what led up to the shooting, but say they are actively looking for a suspect believed to be an "older teenager."
