Raleigh-bound Delta flight diverted shortly after takeoff

ORLANDO, Fla. (WTVD) -- A Delta flight bound for Raleigh had to be diverted shortly after takeoff.

It happened Monday evening at Orlando International Airport.

Delta officials say an odor forced the flight back to the tarmac.

They tell us all 127 passengers, pilots and flight attendants landed safely at Orlando.

Customers were quickly rebooked on separate flights to Raleigh.



It's unclear where the odor originated from.
