SAMPSON COUNTY, N.C. (WTVD) -- Authorities said a man was killed in a shooting involving a sheriff's deputy in Sampson County.
The North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation is now investigating the incident involving the Sampson County Sheriff's Office.
Chopper 11 was over the scene near a Dollar General along Faison Highway, where investigators were gathering evidence.
The SBI said it was requested to respond and is working to determine what led to the shooting.
No additional details have been released at this time.
