Snow day for most students across central NC | LIST

RALEIGH, N.C. (WTVD) -- School delays and closings are rolling for Friday as roads remain slick and dangerous from Wednesday's storm. With temperatures remaining near freezing or below, not much will melt as road crews try to clean them as best they can.

List of school cancellations on Friday, Feb. 21. This select list is just a few that have been entered into our closing system. More will be added as they are announced.

• Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools- Remote learning day on Friday, Feb. 21.

• Cumberland County Schools- Closed

• Durham Public Schools- Remote learning day on Friday, Feb. 21

• Nash County Public Schools - Closed

CITI High School and Nash-Rocky Mount Early College High School will operate on a remote learning schedule.
All evening activities, including after-school care and athletics, have been canceled for Friday as well.

How to report a closure

If you are in charge of closings for a school or business, the only way to report your organization's closing or delay to ABC11 is by using our online system. The phone system used in the past is not operational. Your ID code from the phone system remains the same and serves as your passcode into the online system.
