DURHAM, N.C. (WTVD) -- For Dajah Stallings, 26, going to Super Bowl LX is a dream come true. Seattle Seahawks managers unveiled exciting news that all full-time staff and interns were going.

"They're taking care of the flight, hotel, certain welcome receptions that are set up for us. There's going to be a tailgate and post game party," said Dajah Stallings.

Stallings currently lives in Seattle, Washington, but is a Durham native who is a Hillside High School and class of 2021 UNC Chapel Hill graduate that majored in sports administration.

A proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, Stallings told Eyewitness News she's always wanted to work for the NFL in some capacity.

Stallings has worked for the Seattle Seahawks for three seasons as their community engagement and legend's coordinator.

"My primary role is to support our former players in their transition off the field and life after the game," she said. "Getting them involved and integrated in the community."

Eyewitness News connected with her mother, Angelique Stallings, ahead of her flight. She admitted that she wasn't done packing yet.

"I'm taking all the fashions darling. All the fashions. Really it's about going and being comfortable. I am a woman of a particular age. I want to make sure I have a good time with Dajah. Whatever she wants to do I'm tagging along," she said.

As this mother and daughter duo prepare for this premier experience, Dajah offered up a few words for Bull City boys and girls who are watching her journey.

"If you put your mind to something, you can make it happen," she said.
