Help stock the shelves at the Second Harvest Food Bank of Southeast NC

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (WTVD) -- On a recent visit to the Second Harvest Food Bank of Southeast NC, the urgent need for donations was evident.

In southeast North Carolina, the food insecurity rate stands at 19%, much higher than the state average of 15.4%. Yet due to recent cuts, the shelves that once held essential supplies are empty. Pallets that typically filled the warehouse are gone, and even the refrigerated storage stands nearly bare.

This shortage directly affects the 88,000 individuals Second Harvest Food Bank serves each month, leaving many without the full support they rely on.

But there are two immediate ways you can make a difference.
