Shipley Do-Nuts plans to open two shops in Raleigh in the next two years.
The chain, which got its start in Houston, serves more than 60 different traditional yeast and cake-style doughnuts.
It will also offer its famous kolaches stuffed with fillings such as sausage, jalapenos, ham, cheese, bacon and eggs.
Shipley opened its first North Carolina shop in Concord, near Charlotte, in 2024.
The first Shipley in Raleigh is expected to open in 2027, but the exact location has not been announced.
