Singles Pitch Night returns to Raleigh

Friday, September 12, 2025
RALEIGH, N.C. (WTVD) -- The third Singles Pitch Night will be held Sunday evening in Raleigh, giving friends a chance to introduce their single friends to a wider community.

The event, co-organized by Maggie Kane, invites participants to give three- to five-minute presentations about their single friends, followed by a short audience Q&A.

"We have 10 people who then pitch their friends," Kane said. "They do a three- to five-minute PowerPoint presentation on who their friend is, what they're interested in, what their energy and vibe is. And then we have QR codes for each person, and people can just scan the code, DM them, and maybe connect later."

Kane said the goal is about more than matchmaking.

"It's all about creating community in the Triangle," she said. "If we can find love out of it, it's even more special."

The event will be held at Junction West, 310 S. West St., from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Admission is free, and organizers said a few hundred people have already signed up to attend.
