16-year-old charged with murder in shooting death of teenager in Raleigh

RALEIGH, N.C. (WTVD) -- A teenager in Raleigh is dead after being shot and a 16-year-old is facing charges.

According to Raleigh police, officers responded to the shooting call on Giles Street around 5:00 p.m. on Friday and found a person with a gunshot.

The 15-year-old was rushed to the hospital with a life-threatening injuries and later died, police said.

Monday, Raleigh police announced the suspect in the shooting is a 16-year-old and the teen has been charged with murder.
