In October of 2024, deputies were called to Atomic Drive around 4 p.m.
They found Damonte Larsen with gunshot wounds. He was taken to a hospital where he died from his injuries.
Tresean Alexander Green, 22, of Fayetteville was arrested on Friday thanks to a tip from Crime Stoppers, according to the sheriff's office. He is now facing a first-degree murder charge.
His first appearance in front of a judge will be on Monday.
