The attack happened March 7 at a home in the 300 block of Springwood Drive in Henderson.
The victim's ear was severely damaged in the attack.
Authorities said the dogs' owner, 31-year-old Quentin Spruill, was previously cited for failing to properly confine the dogs.
Spruill has now been charged with three counts of misdemeanor attacks by dangerous dogs. He was given a $3,000 secure bond. He was scheduled to appear in court on April 7.
The dogs are in the care of the Vance County Animal Shelter.
