Thousands without power in freezing weather

DURHAM (WTVD) -- North Carolina Emergency Management officials say thousands across the state are dealing with power outages with temperatures not expected to rise above freezing Sunday.

Gov. Cooper said around 2,600 people across the state were without power.

Emergency Management officials said the hardest-hit counties originally were Durham, Franklin, Gaston, and Wake.
