RALEIGH, N.C. (WTVD) -- Three people remain on the run after a high-speed chase and crash in Raleigh on Tuesday night.

It started around 9 p.m. when State Highway Patrol clocked a white Kia traveling 95 miles per hour on I-540 near U.S. 1.

The trooper took off after the Kia, which refused to pull over or slow down.

Highway Patrol said it's troopers used a PIT maneuver to try and stop the Kia as it traveled onto Triangle Town Boulevard off I-540.

However, the PIT maneuver failed. The driver of the Kia was slowed down but was able to recover and keep driving.

The Kia eventually crashed into the curb and came to a stop at Sumner Boulevard and Triangle Town Boulevard.

That's when four people jumped out of the car and ran off.

Troopers chased after them, but were only able to locate one of the four. That person has not been identified nor has their condition been made public.
