RPD said Monday that Garry Gibbs, 46, has been arrested and charged with murder and possession of a firearm by a felon.
Police said the shooting happened around 12:20 a.m. Saturday in the 1500 block of Poole Road.
Officers found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to a hospital but later died from his injuries.
Police identified the man as Lewis Crowder, 32.
The investigation is ongoing, police said Monday.
