One injured in shooting outside Raleigh night club

RALEIGH (WTVD) -- Raleigh police said one person was taken to the hospital after a shooting at a night club early Sunday.

Police responded to WakeMed around 1 a.m. after the victim arrived in a privately owned vehicle.

Officers said Justin Turrell Griffis, 28, had been shot in the parking lot at Club Ego on Capital Boulevard. He may have been in a vehicle at the time.

His injuries are not considered life-threatening.

Police are still investigating.
