Raleigh police investigating bank robbery on Creedmoor Road

RALEIGH, N.C. (WTVD) -- Raleigh Police are investigating a bank robbery Thursday at the First National Bank at 7100 Creedmoor Road.

Police said a man entered the branch about 4:50 p.m. and attempted to rob the bank. He displayed a gun and demanded money, police said.

After the robbery, he fled on foot.



Police described the suspect as a white man about 6 feet 2 inches tall. He was wearing a camo mask, black gloves, and a blue winter coat with a hood.

Police are still investigating employees and gathering clues.
