On Tuesday, about 2 a.m., Burlington police officers responded to a burglar alarm at Womack Electric, 1250 S. Mebane St.
Officers said the building had been broken into, and a witness said they saw a white Ford F-150 leaving the business right before officers got there.
Police were able to identify a suspect through surveillance video.
Further investigation showed the pickup had been stolen from Alamance Health on N. Graham Hopedale Road and then used in the Womack break-in.
A few hours later, police responded to a break-in at La Cocina Mexican Restaurant at 1715 N. Church Street. The front-door glass had been broken

Police reviewed surveillance video from La Cocina and determined the suspect was the same man in the earlier break-in.
Rashaun Willie Wilkerson, 36, of the 600 block of Center Ave, Burlington, was arrested a short distance from La Cocina.

Wilkerson was taken into custody without incident.
He has been charged with:
- One count of felony breaking and entering of building
- One count of possession of burglary tools
- One count larceny of motor vehicle
- One aide and abet forgery
On Wednesday, Wilkerson was additionally charged in other incidents, including:
- Five counts of felony break-in of building
- One count felony larceny
- One count of possession of burglary tools
- Four counts larceny after break/enter
- Two counts attempted breaking or entering of building
Wilkerson is being held at the Alamance County Jail. His original $150.000 secured bond was raised by an additional $75,000.
The cases remain under investigation. Additional charges are potentially pending, police said.
