S. Elliott Road in Chapel Hill reopens after malfunctioning hydrant
CHAPEL HILL, N.C. (WTVD) -- S. Elliott Road was closed to through traffic after a hydrant malfunctioned near the Whole Foods around 10:30 a.m. Sunday, Chapel Hill police said.
The road has since reopened.
Orange Water and Sewer Authority (OWASA) was been called. There was a car nearby but it was not involved and there was no crash, authorities said.
