CLINTON, N.C. (WTVD) -- Six people were shot Saturday night in a drive-by shooting in Clinton, police said Sunday morning.

The shootings happened shortly after 9 p.m. in the 500 block of Stetson Street near Still Street.

Four adults and two children were shot. All were taken for treatment at Sampson Regional Medical Center.

Angela Middleton, who lives down the street, told ABC11 that she is a disabled veteran and administered aid to three victims after hearing a car and gunfire.

According to Middleton, the three victims -- an older woman and her son, and her 12-year-old grandson -- are related to a man who was shot and killed Friday evening near Kennedy Street.

On Sunday, Clinton Police identified the shooting victims as Agnes Chevalier, 61, Isaiah Cunningham, 23, Ricky Herring, 60, Jonathan Raynor, 36, a 12-year-old boy and a 17-month-old male toddler.

All are described as stable.

Police said it appeared the suspects were driving a black Chrysler 200 and drove past the house, where people were gathered outside. After circling the block, they drove by again and opened fire before fleeing the area.

Investigators said they think the victims were targeted and this was not a random act.

The case remains under investigation.
